LicenceLane sets the price for each service and the applicable commission. Review both, and your estimated payout, before you activate your availability. You can choose not to publish at that price.
Commission is calculated on the amount the learner actually pays, after any discount. Pricing and commission changes follow the Instructor Terms, and confirmed bookings keep the rate they were booked at.

No. Learners book and pay for the times you publish, and the booking confirms straight away. You decide what can be booked through your hours, leave, suburbs and the gap between lessons. If you genuinely can't make a lesson, cancel it from your portal with a reason: the learner is offered a new time or a full refund, and an admin fee applies.
Does LicenceLane guarantee bookings?
No. LicenceLane lists you and handles booking and payment, but how many learners book depends on demand in your area, the hours you open and your profile. There is no minimum number of lessons.
When will I be paid?
A completed lesson becomes payable 7 days after it's taught, then goes out in your next weekly or fortnightly payout run, on a Monday. Each run comes with a statement showing every booking, the commission and the net amount, less the flat payout fee shown in your portal.
What licence classes can I teach?
Car (automatic and manual) anywhere in Australia. LR, MR, HR and HC are offered only in Queensland, if you hold the instructor authority for them. You choose your classes when you apply and can request a change later from your portal.
What happens when one of my documents expires?
You add an expiry date with each licence, clearance and insurance upload, and we remind you before it lapses. Keeping them current is what keeps you bookable.
