- Who sets prices
- LicenceLane sets the displayed price as the instructor's agent. The total is shown before payment.
Instructor checks
- On file before any booking
- Driver licence for every class they list. State or territory instructor licence or accreditation. Working With Children Check where the law requires one. Insurance.
- Expiry
- Dates are tracked. An instructor isn't offered for a date when a required document has expired.
- Shown on profiles
- Verification status and date. These are platform checks, not a government endorsement.
Booking and cancelling
- How to book
- Search your suburb, choose an instructor and a time they've made available, and pay online
- Cancelling
- With at least 24 hours' notice: a refund of the service price, or service credit for discounted purchases. Full rules are in the Learner Terms.
What LicenceLane is not
- Not a driving school
- Not affiliated with or endorsed by TMR or any government licensing authority
- Doesn't issue licences, run government driving tests, or guarantee a test appointment or a pass
- Bookings don't include a nationally recognised qualification
